The tendency of Volkswagen cars to stop in the middle of traffic isn’t a flaw, it’s a feature, according to Volkswagen’s response to a rising tide of complaints against the manufacturer. “People these days are in too much of a hurry,” explained a spokesperson for Volkswagen. “If you’re always thinking about where you’re going, you never have time to enjoy where you are. That’s why we created the Smell the Roses Feature, to enrich people’s lives.”
Although this ‘feature’ isn’t mentioned in any promotional material, or car manuals, or on the website, or by any car salesmen, Volkswagen claim this is simply because they forgot to mention it, adding “Don’t worry about what is or isn’t in the documentation, just concentrate on what makes you happy.”
Volkswagen is excited for customers to discover the many other surprise, deep structural features riddling their cars.
The original Volkswagen was created in collaboration with the Third Reich.
